Besides the chatter of three girls the auditorium the large room was empty, not one person in the seats. The lights were on however and the chattering that could be heard was coming from the stage. They had gotten permission to practice a Hip Hop routine on the stage that evening that was supposed to be used for a fun showcase later that month. Hip Hop had sort of been her safe Genre or choice since her accident. It still took a lot of work and talent but was not as much physical stress as say Ballet or even a pretty lyrical piece would. Gia had to be careful with her body and was still learning its limitations. Hip Hop was fun and she enjoyed it a lot, it pushed boundries and could be just about anything you want. Pushing the play button the music filled the auditorium and the dance started. Gia in the front with the two other girls behind her. She was a leader and liked to have control, not to mention she never let herself be put in the back. Maybe it was her ego talking but she knew she was a better dancer than the other two girls...or at least would be if she got over her fears.
This particular dance was on the slightly slower side and just a bit provocative. Being normally described as cute or adorable this gave her a chance to show a different side of her, and she didn't disappoint. If there had been a audience she would have captivated them. The dance went on for a few minutes before the music faded away and the room was quiet again. The girl took a second to breath and relax but it wasn't soon after that the other two girls announced that they needed to head out for the night. Gia nodded, but she was not ready to leave just yet, wanting to get in a little more practice by herself. Going to the edge of the stage she sat down, with her legs dangling over the edge and taking a drink out of her water bottle. She had been so distracted by the dance that she hadn't noticed that she wasn't actually alone.
