Identifying Features || He's always had large ears, but it's one of his insecurities, so perhaps it's for the best that's not brought up by anyone but his nonna. As far as tats or piercings go, he's got none, but does want to get a tattoo in the near future.
Overall || Edd’s always been tall, dark skinned, and scrawny. He’s never been one for building his muscle mass though his arms are stronger due to heavy lifting. He’s more skilled with his fingers than he is with his physical strength -- his limbs are lithe and he’s always been very flexible. He’s part indian, though he doesn’t know anything about his mother or heritage. Instead he takes pride in his Italian roots.

Usually he’s dressed in baggy clothes and jeans. He’s fond of tee shirts, but hates collared shirts, so good luck getting him into a button down shirt for any kind of formal event. If he does wear a button down shirt it’s over a tee shirt or undershirt, the buttons always undone. He likes band shirts and cheap things he finds at the thrift shop. He doesn’t like ‘high end’ fashion and thinks it’s pointless to spend a lot of money on something frivolous as clothes.

Overall || Edd is a daydreamer, and finds it hard to focus on things he’s not interested in. He’s quick to annoy or frustrate, and sometimes will overthink to the point he freaks other people out. His temper can be violent, usually resulting in kicked desks or hit walls (at the expense of his own limbs). Edd has a great respect for his elders, specifically women his grandmother’s age. Despite his temper he does have patience, especially for those who are genuinely trying. He enjoys teaching others about things, like how to use electronics or how to fix simple things.

He has a deadpan sense of humor, resorting to that and sarcasm to get a laugh out of people. He’s pretty witty, and sometimes with his deadpan wit, he gets taken seriously when he’s just cracking a joke. He’s ambitious, and when he gets focused on something he’s not easily distracted.

History || Edward was named after his paternal grandfather. The household he lived in included his grandparents and his father. He never thought it was weird to not know his mother until he start to bring friends over, and they’d ask questions. When he brought it up to his father he brushed him off. Edward’s grandfather was always an alcoholic. Although he was never a violent or mean drunk, it’s difficult for Edward to remember a time when his grandfather was completely there.

His interest in aviation began shortly after his grandfather passed just before he entered middle school. Edwardo. had been in the US Air Force for a majority of his life, and Edward found going through his memorabilia intrigued him. His Nonna encouraged his interest, and so did his father, though Francesco succumbed to the same path of alcoholism that his father had fallen into. He always was there for Edward, though he smelt of vodka.

High School went by rather well for Edward, all things considered: he made some good friends and, for most of his birthdays, he got to go to airshows. He was a junior, however, when his father took a turn for the worse and passed away just as his grandfather had. The loss was devastating to both him and Nonna, leaving them with just one another for family. He was reluctant, then, to go off to college. He took a year off of school to work, but Nonna insisted that he go to college. She’s a very resilient woman with many friends, so she wouldn’t be alone when he left. He still texts her daily, and she’ll come visit him on occasion for breaks or events. Now, in his junior year, Edward’s working towards a career in aircraft engineering. He was torn -- and is still somewhat torn -- that he might prefer to be a pilot, but he really does like building aircrafts. Copper Harbor’s program in engineering appealed to him, both for the academics and the fact it’s not terribly far away from his hometown which is just over the Ohio border.
