Cora was sitting alone at a table in the library, yes you read that right. Cora rarely spent any time in the Library let alone studying. The girl managed to get decent grades and skate by. Though she was a lot smarter than she let on, the problem being that her sister had always been the genius and Cora hated to be 2nd best so she never applied herself academically. She would let Petra enjoy being a biology major and Cora was more than thrilled with her choice to be a fashion major. Her table was a complete mess, books, pencils and pens, bags, and notebooks littered the table. In front of her was a math book that had seen better days.
Math was her worst subject, oh how she hated it and wished it would just go away. She had written down a bunch of nonsense on one notepad as she tried to figure out a problem. Frustrated she slammed her fist against the table obviously annoyed. Not really realizing it until she had all ready done it. A few people looked at her, most normal people would have uttered a small "sorry" but that was not Cora's style.
This is just useless, i'm going to fail she said to herself. For the most part she had paid attention in her classes but none of it was making any sense and she was getting beyond frustrated. Maybe she needed a little break or distraction to clear her mind. A walk outside in the sun? Who was she kidding it was Washington in the beginning of spring, the sky was grain and water was pouring from the sky she noted as she looked out of one of the library windows. Cora actually found watching this kind of weather relaxing. Maybe she should just head back to her dorm room and work on that dress some more that she had been slaving over.
